Yamaha Vino 125 vs Genuine Buddy 125
Spring has Sprung. Gasoline costs $4 a gallon. It's gettIng warmer and sunny.
Could youthink of a better way to get around the city or campus than on a 125 or
150 cc scooter?
Two primary contenders in the 125cc class which you may have
been considering are the Yamaha Vino 125 and the Genuine Buddy 125.
Both have the same list price. Either will allow you to zip around the city or
campus no problem. Here's Antonio's comparison. Black Buddy vs Blue Vino
Let's start with some subjective stuff followed by the heart of the matter.
Cuteness: Vino wins. It has a big large chrome headlight. The gauges seem to be stuck on like some cute animated film, the finish is slightly better, and the name sounds Italian, which it is not. Buddy sounds like something from a World War II film.
Performance: Buddy wins. The Buddy is definately faster. It also rides a little better. Buddy also has a remarkably loud horn, great to keep you out of trouble. We Love the horn.
Accoutrements: Buddy wins. The Vino has no front glove box, Buddy does. The glove box comes in very handy for a number of things.. such as your registration or cell phone. The Buddy also has more interior storage. The seat on the Buddy more comfortably accomodates two riders.
Price; Identical
Warranty: Buddy Wins Buddy comes with A 24 month warranty. Vino comes with a 12 month warranty.

Antonio reccomends - These are both good scoots and you should check them both out, and drive them if you can. You may love the crome headlight on the Vino. We do. However we love the 24 month warrantee on the Buddy more.
Most every scooter rider likes how quickly their new scoot takes off. After a while they usually wish they were a little faster. Being slightly faster, the 24 month warranty, and having the fabulous horn makes AntonioScoot select the Buddy.
